Noz
Anyone have any experience with this round? Looks very interesting to me.
Boulder Canyon Bob# 32052L
I've got a Rock Island 1911 chambered in it, mine has the 4.25" barrel. It's fun to shoot and very easy recoil, lots of flame. Haven't got a ton of rounds thru it yet, but my brother in law scored dies, brass and a bunch of factory ammo for it. Similar to the 5.57. I like the fact of the high capacity mags, I've been toying with the idea of getting a rifle chambered in it.

Dawg Hair, SASS #29557
Saw it last night in "Gun Stories" in the Outdoor Channel. Dang! It looks very, very appealing! In the program Corey Trapp posed a question about how the gun would stand up to the high pressures, but it seems Rock Island has that covered. Interesting! Henry T Harrison
I'm always a little leery of new niche cartridges, I've seen too many fail leaving folks with orphan guns
Kid Rich
A very interesting caliber, very fast and seems to be accurate. My sister bought one and I'm contemplating one. I have yet to see a cartridge introduced that didn't have someone naysaying it. Don't let that discourage you. A fun gun to shoot. kR
Chili Ron
Howdy, A while back a good friend had a Ackley improved 5.56. When he was fire forming some cases he found it was unexpectedly accurate with the run of the mill ammo. Turned out to be TOO accurate, he had to buy one for his wife too. They had some little difference so they could tell em apart easy. I never did write down the barrel twist. I expect he was shooting 55 grain as he just wanted to form the cases for the Improved speeds. Ultimate wildcat could shoot common ammo too.
