Abilene Slim SASS 81783 Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 Couldn't get in to see "Hateful Eight" this weekend, so we went to see "Creed", the 7th in the Stallone/Rocky series. Wasn't expecting much, but this is very well done and a fine acting job by Stallone as a real human, as opposed to snarky action hero. If you like the "Rocky" genre, this is worth seeing.
Utah Bob #35998 Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 It seems to be getting good reviews all around.
Nasty Newt # 7365 Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 It looks really good. I plan to see it.
Rye Miles #13621 Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 He's one of the most anti-gun actors in Hollywood! I won't watch a second of Stallone on anything! http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2014/08/14/rambo-hates-guns-how-sylvester-stallone-became-the-most-anti-gun-celeb-in-hollywood.html
Colorado big Al Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 Very good movie with down to earth acting and screenplay. I highly recommend it as great Saturday afternoon/ evening movie just to get away from reality... Respectfully, CBA 3195
prophetic_joe Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 I was a bit disappointed actually. I mean the acting was good and directing was good but I just felt like it wasn't necessary. It really didn't do enough to make it it's own movie but also added nothing to the Rocky story. It just felt like something I wasn't really asking for and ultimately didn't need. That thoughtless Christmas gift from someone who cares but has no clue what to get you.
Gunner Gatlin, SASS 10274L Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 Looking forward to seeing it. With that said we did see Star Wars which was fun and in line with the Star Wars movies prior. GG ~
Colt B.A. Blastn Johnson Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 Cant wait for it to come out on streaming media, so I can enjoy in the comfort of my home. (my back is so messed up I cant stay seated in a theater for any length of time!) A buddy of mine tells me its a very well made movie, that deserves awards!

Red Gauntlet , SASS 60619 Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 I don't go to movies anymore because so many actors and actresses are not of my religion or politics, and hold other opinions divergent from mine. Same is true of my doctors. As to the grocery store owners, I don't ask. A man's gotta eat!

Same is true of my doctors. As to the grocery store owners, I don't ask. A man's gotta eat! ... some actors I support and some I don't for various reasons - some as you describe....same goes for businesses. For me this movie...? well, I have enjoyed the Rocky series over my lifetime so I'd make an exception to see this one. Other Stallone movies? who knows. Hey, I don't wear Levis because of their anti-2nd Amendment stance and wear Wranglers because of their pro-2nd Amendment stance. To each is own I reckon... GG ~
