FROGS!

That was a massacre. If you are the #9, nationally ranked team, and can only hang 3 pts after a month of preparation for your opponent........you were a poseur all season.

Hardly a "poseur" when you play the schedule they played this year and only a couple of losses coming in. A lot like other top teams that don't get the "Playoff" spot they thought they would get. TCU is a really good team as is Ole Miss. Like the player for Clemson said in the Oklahoma game when commenting on the opposition. They didn't want it like the Frogs did. You can't win the championship so go have fun and get ready for that NFL combine and stay healthy doing it.

NFL money is ruining the college game. A lot of these players won't risk serious injury in a game that means nothing. Without a shot at that ring, the money's the important thing.

Can't argue with that, Backwater.

HAR!!! As all SEC teams, Ole Miss played one less conference game than any other Power Five Conference team!

Then, on top of that, Ole MIss played NO other Power Five conference foe (a few of the SEC teams did - Ole Miss did not).

Thus they played two less games against power 5 conference opponents unlike most other top tier teams. This give them a huge advantage in final record, less risk of injury for their players in less competitive games, and more rest for their first team players throughout the season

Don't get me wrong, the SEC plays great football, but folks need to realize the playing field is being manipulated, and that ESPN is not an honest broker and hypes the heck out of the SEC - SINCE THEY OWN THE SEC NETWORK!!!

All of that said, it STILL don't make 'em "poseurs"!

Heartily agree! They were a good football team this year, with some real, quality wins over tough opponents.

I did expect them to put up a bit more fight when the got down. At least they didn't give up like FSU did in the Rose Bowl...
