Captain Bill Burt Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 This seems like a decent deal. The seller has a good rating and claims the round count is 100. He started it at $798 with Buy it Now of $799. I thought I would post it in case any pards are interested. It looks like a flat top rear sight with a ladder and some type of high post up front. http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=341019216
John Barleycorn, SASS #76982 Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 Thanks, I just emailed that to Dakota Pony's brother Utah Scout. She has been looking hi and low for one of these
Captain Bill Burt Posted May 14, 2013 Author Posted May 14, 2013 The seller says he loaded it with 38sp and it held 10, he mentions an OAL of 1.4 something.
Buck D. Law, SASS #62183 Posted May 15, 2013 Posted May 15, 2013 Gone! I hope to a cowboy/cowgirl. The buyer's previous purchase was a 200E shotgun and not long before that some Single Sixes. If I were a bettin' man, I'd bet it's a cowboy. That was an excellent deal.
Dutch Nichols, SASS #6461 Posted May 15, 2013 Posted May 15, 2013 I had one it would NOT hold 10 unless loaded too short to cycle properly, YMMV ............
Mt.Zion Yellowboy, SASS #44074 Posted May 15, 2013 Posted May 15, 2013 May depend on the gun. I just bought the same gun in .45 from a cowboy and it holds 10 of my 200gr. .45s and feeds em good. They are a good 1/8" longer than my wife's .38s what feed real well in her .73 short rifle. And fast ta boot. I do not see how it would not HOLD 10. But some may load longer than I. I do know this. Had I seen that auction it would not have made it to 5/14. Evidently, "Uberti" was not in the title as I check gunbroker under that search daily. Fast and straight shooting to all. Yellowboy
