Red Gauntlet , SASS 60619
I'm Presbyterian, but have attended Orthodox Holy Week services for decades. Bridegroom service on Tuesday, Passion gospels Thursdays, Lamentations on Friday; Paschal liturgy Sunday morning. I got 9 or 10 hours in! Aleithos anesti, Joe! Yeah, I find it a very emotionally moving and tiring week. But also satisfying. And I love the immediacy of it - "TODAY He Who hung the Earth upon the waters is hung on a tree...." My wife and I used to take the whole week off so we could hit all the services.

Subdeacon Joe
Neeto! I see: Greek Russian/Serb/Albanian/ something that uses a Russian alphabet No Idea German What is #3 English! Well, Old English. Lifted them from here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paschal_greeting I'll joke with people, "I even know it in Georgian!" by which they assume the Georgia by Russia. So I hit 'em with "Christ done got up!" "He shore 'nuff did!" Hey! God gave us a sense of humor to use.
