MARSHAL W.E. BGood SASS 18429
Amen. While I didn't always agree with his politics, I loved his curmudgeon humor and he definitely got you thinkin'.

Adirondack Jack, SASS #53440
And now we know why he gave up his beloved chat with us. RIP.
jimmyb.1
His farewell episode on 60 min last month stressed to "not bother him for an autograph". Would a pencil rubbing of his name on the tombstone count? Just as a way to say goodbye and to tease the ole' fart a bit.
Utah Bob #35998
And now we know why he gave up his beloved chat with us. RIP. Actually they are saying he passed due to complications from minor surgery. I guess when you're 92, there's no such thing as minor surgery. Slowhand Bob, 24229
I frequently enjoyed the humor and usually just let his pointed political attacks against those with which he disagreed pass and now I wish that he will RIP where the sun always shines warmly on the good guys. Paladin Gun For Hire
HAVE YOU EVER WONDERED WHY? No one said that better than Andy. Imagine him having a conversation with God.
Howdy Doody
WWII Vets are disappearing faster than ever. Andy Rooney was a vet and reporter and from all I have gathered he had his neck stretched out for some of his stories and he was in the mix of things in the European Theater. I figure to look up some his writings and get a feel for how it was on the front lines. As far as his comments on TV go, he was just more or less stating what everyone did before PC became vogue. God bless you Andy Rooney.
