Jack Houston # 35508 Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 Lucas McCain had a Super Short Stroked '73, how much faster could he have been???
Hacker, SASS #55963 Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 From a winchester 1892 i would expect some improvement in speed. But it is the twirling of the rifle that makes it impressive.!?
Injun Ryder, SASS #36201L Posted October 12, 2011 Posted October 12, 2011 And you know how much better it performs if you blow on the loading gate afterwards!
Wrangler Jones, SASS # 64178 Posted October 12, 2011 Posted October 12, 2011 I think he got a match DQ for all that sweepin'!
Jack Houston # 35508 Posted October 12, 2011 Author Posted October 12, 2011 I think he got a match DQ for all that sweepin'! Are YOU gonna' tell him???
Grizzly Adams 3674 Posted October 12, 2011 Posted October 12, 2011 I had never noticed that he has his sleeves rolled up. Kind of a 50's cowperson look!
Big Jake1001 Posted October 12, 2011 Posted October 12, 2011 Was Chuck Conners Left Handed? Maybe they flipped the film backwards. Blowing on the loading gate....wrong side of the Rifle. Look how many years Billy the Kid's picture was around before someone noticed it was a reversed image. Just sayin' Big Jake

Just sayin' Big Jake Big Jake, Go back and stop the video at 18 seconds, it gives a clear pick of the LEFT side, no loading gate. So, I'd conclude that yes, CC was left handed.

Cypress Sun Posted October 12, 2011 Posted October 12, 2011 At least he's easy to pick up brass for........none was ejected.
Gunner Gatlin, SASS 10274L Posted October 12, 2011 Posted October 12, 2011 The 73 is too bulky and heavy for the way The Rifleman handled his rifle GG ~
Wrangler Jones, SASS # 64178 Posted October 12, 2011 Posted October 12, 2011 They didn't shoot Italian guns back then. That was back before they started shootin' Italian westerns, too.
