Good, I got it figgered out then. I had to take advantage of the fact that my dial-up crappy internet service was actually working well this morning for a change!

Thanks for the replies, now I can get to work on some shots of my old Winchester for the other forum.

Bodine.

p.s. Shaggy and Choco are both rescues we took in. Choco was supposed to be MY horse, but he's the one that likes to run and turn and such, so the Missus "stole" him from me for Mounted Action shooting! ^_^

Well, that's all for now, I'll try to start getting some more cowboy related stuff going. This is the one thing I learned how to do on computers pretty well, and I like to share my exploits with folks!

Nope, that's Nana Bear, another rescue. We got her as a pup. Best dog I've ever had! Part St. Bernard, part Mastiff, and part Rottweiller. Not a mean bone in her, but she is protective of us and the house.

Ranger is a Thoroughbred/Apaloosa cross. he changes color and scheme twice a year except for the lightnin' blaze on his face. We really don't know how to classify him?

Choco is a registered Quarter Horse with no Arab in his line, but dang near everyone that sees him says the same thing. We rescued him from a nasty divorce break-up but managed to get the paperwork through one of the family. The couple both moved away and left him abandoned!!! He changes from black to bay to almost buckskin with the seasons too.

I'd take a week of that snow about now, it was already 92 at 9 a.m.

Great pictures Bodine. Ft. de Chartres is my home town stompin' grounds. Thanks for posting the pictures. Never made the rendezvou but did visit the fort many times. Something special about the place. That gate got my eye. As a kid, I could just see indians around every tree. Ft. Kaskaskia is kinda special too. Those mounds mean a lot to me. Mostly warm summer nights with my girlfriend

watching the submarine races in the river. Got a great view of them from above.
