C.S. Brady, SASS #63699
I was thinking of picking up a canvas shotgun belt, anyone here have a reason I should not get one?
Driftwood Johnson, SASS #38283
Howdy Not me. I bought a canvas shotshell belt a bazillion years ago from Cabellas. I have 8 shotgun loops on my gunbelt, so I usually don't use the belt. But if the stage calls for 10 or 12 shotgun shells, I load up the belt. TN Mongo, SASS #61450
I love mine. They are great during the hot summers we have in the South. Dyed leather belts sometimes bleed color onto clothing when shooter sweat a lot.
Gunner Gatlin, SASS 10274L
I used to use a canvas belt. Recently I had a leather one made. I love it. It has a suede backing and grips great. Oh...Doc Noper made it I liked the canvas one too..but it moved up and down too much for me... GG

Oddnews SASS# 24779
I have one, and I don't just use it as a shotshell belt. It carries both shotshells and my holsters.

SlicLee SASS #16638 Life
Try not to buy one thats made from same canvas as stiff fire hose.
J-BAR #18287
If the canvas is too stiff, take it out to the concrete floor in the garage and pound it with a hammer. Really. I did it. It works.

Guest diablo slim shootist
I have the best of both worlds -a leather belt with canvas loops I love it-shells pop right out...only problem if you stoop over to pick something off the ground a couple of shells always fall out. Lone Dog, SASS #20401
The best reason NOT to buy ANY shotgun belt is the Tupelo Bando. The TP bandoleer has made ALL sg belts obsolete. Oh, and John Boy that would be CAValry forager not calvary.
