Three Foot Johnson Posted May 4, 2011 Posted May 4, 2011 ... I lost my oldest daughter under the wheels of a drunk drivers vehicle in her own front yard. She wasn't quite 22 months old. Those of you in law enforcement, please make an extra effort today to get one in memory of Constance Rebecca Johnson, August 10, 1979 - May 4, 1981. If your child draws on the wall, breaks a dish out of your "good" set, cuts their sister's hair, breaks a window with a stray ball, or spills strawberry Koolaid on your new carpet, remember it's just "stuff".
Whiskey Business Posted May 4, 2011 Posted May 4, 2011 My heart goes out to you and your family for such a terrible loss.
Badger Mountain Charlie SASS #43172 Posted May 4, 2011 Posted May 4, 2011 J. Bar, I am so sorry for your loss. That would be the hardest thing a person would have to endure, losing a child. My condolences to you and your wife. The loss will never go away, but the memories will remain also. God bless you and your family.

Cypress Sun Posted May 4, 2011 Posted May 4, 2011 J Bar, Please accept my sincere condolences for the untimely loss of your daughter Constance. It must be hard to even post in the Saloon on such a day as today. I hope that anyone that reads your post looks at her picture........and then of her gravestone........to serve as a reminder to not drink and drive. You and your daughter's souls will remain together, as one, until such a time as you meet again. Cypress Sun
Springfield Slim SASS #24733 Posted May 4, 2011 Posted May 4, 2011 My kids are 7 and 9 and one of my priorities in their raising is to teach them to not do stupid stuff like drive intoxicated, even if it means your friends laugh at you and you have to walk home. It's just not worth it.
Lil Nik Posted May 4, 2011 Posted May 4, 2011 We teach our children the same thing as far as not drinking and driving. We have constantly had major discussions to Call us no matter how far or how late, or stay there(if possible), or get a cab and we will pay it when they make it home safely. SO SORRY for your loss!!!
Flint McCloud 3103L Posted May 4, 2011 Posted May 4, 2011 Amigo... I truly don't have the words... A parent is never meant to outlive their children... especially one so very young... My prayers for your family for peace and healing as well as comfort... Vaya con Dios
