  1. Damnd nice looking Rifle. That looks just like my favorite , 44 mag Rifle I have . It just dont get any better looking then this Rifle. IMHO .
  2. I was in Gander Mountain buying a Winchester 9422 . The guy billing me out was Deuce Stevens . I was telling him Im a big fan of Single action guns . And I am a Cowboy at heart. Deuce asked me if I ever herd of SASS and cowboy action shooting . I said NO . Deuce said there was a shoot that weekend in Rockford. And I should come check it out . I went to the shoot and WOW ! This is what Im all about . Deuce said you will need a Pistol caliber rifle. And Two Pistols and a Shotgun. Some holsters and a gun cart . I said I have everything except a gun cart. My buddy Scott who is a wood worker said he would help me build a gun cart. I had a gun cart and was at the next shoot . I still have the same gun cart. And five complet sets of guns to play the game. Im Not in the fast game . But Im in the fun game for life ! Thank you Steve for all your help threw out the years.
  3. Uberti makes the 73 in 44 mag .So it must pass standered presher specs. I would not run a stady load of hot 44 mags threw one . But I would imagine a diet of cowboy loads of 44 mag it should run for a very long time . But they have them listed on thier website .
  4. I have bought and sold maney Marlins . Personally I never liked them . I have three slick 92s in 44 mag that I love. Everyone says the 92 is slow . Not true . The 92 can be run faster then most shooters can shoot. Look up Deuce Stevens Rossi 92 on YouTube. I did buy a 73 in 44 special that Im running BP loads threw. Alot easier to clean BP out of a 73 then the 92. But IMHO you should look at a 92 in 44 mag .
