  1. Bingo and I’ve found that the Uber drivers, IMHO, are much safer drivers than most cab drivers I’ve ridden with. The Uber cars I’ve ridden in always seem in excellent condition compared to taxis that seem ready to fall apart.
  2. I’ve found that MEC reloaders in the smaller gauges like to drop #8 or #9 shot a lot better than 7.5. With all of my 16 gauge MEC presses I had bridging issues but when I went to the smaller shot the bridging issues disappeared. Even with new shot 7.5 shot would tend to bridge on occasion. The smaller shot works fine for our game.
  3. KG is a great pard to deal with and he has some very nice guns.
  4. Thank you everyone, you’ve all offered good advice and I really appreciate it.
  5. My wife has a family member that is in bad shape from pancreatic cancer. The doctors have told him that surgery is not an option because it has spread. His wife has Alzheimer’s dementia so she can’t aid in any of the decisions or decision making. The guy is putting pressure on my wife and other relatives to come up with the money to send him to a big cancer center that he thinks is the cure, I have my doubts. I’ve already alienated some of the relatives because I’ve told them that he’s in to bad of shape to even make the trip and if he made it there they’d tell him it’s too late. If any of you have dealt with something like this and would like to share how to deal with something like this I’d appreciate a PM. I think Mrs. Lose is fed up with my negativity, I guess you’d call it, I call it hard choices. Thanks.
  6. Since midnight we’ve gotten right at 2.75” and it’s still raining so don’t put yer slicker away for awhile. Correction on the total, I thought Mrs. Lose emptied the gauge, she didn’t.
  7. We’re getting some pretty good rain, 2.4” since midnight with more coming down hard. Gotta hunch you folks to the east might get pretty wet from this storm too.
  8. PM Double Diamond, he’s slicked up a few of them.
  9. Maybe that’s why he was such a bad shot on that Safari, might start using that as an excuse for my misses at matches.
  10. The EV-phobes will put some kind of positive spin on it like “You really shouldn’t be driving in that weather anyway, it’s not good for the planet.”
  11. At all of the clubs that I shoot at you’re done shooting for the day when you MDQ.
  12. Rooster, as others have said find a good surgeon but putting it off can really present problems the longer you wait. My rods have been in for 30+ years and had I not had it done I wouldn’t be around, they gave me 6-9 months without the surgery. I still experience back pain, especially if I over do it but you learn in time what your limitations are and how to avoid it.
  13. As a kid in Creede, Colorado we built snow forts and igloos.
  14. Funny you should mention that, at Yuma for the Territorial Prison Break I was listening to Centerfold by the J Geils band and I thought that would make a great alias. Now finding someone to fit the alias might be hard to do.
  15. Yours looks a lot like mine. I had it done in June of 1992, lots of things have changed since then procedural wise but your instrumentation looks very similar to mine.
