Help With Broken Uberti Outlaw

Some years back, in the 2000's, Uberti did drill the hole too deep in some hammers for the Model P's. I don't know if that might be the case with yours but certainly could be, as Larsen surmised. Evil Roy used to use snap caps but he dry fired a gazillion times and due to that problem the retaining pin eventually bent like above as the hammer moved deeper and he started getting light hits. Even though Uberti corrected the problem, Gene didn't use snap caps any more.
