Tigers kill two birds with one stone!!

 

They make the playoffs and give Chicago a new record!

As of now, the Tigers still have to win at least one more game to lock in the second wild card spot!

 

122 is at least a likely scenario, given that a win tomorrow would guarantee the Tigers that seed!

They’re in, but depending on the next two days, they could be the second wild card and play the Orioles, or the third wild card and play the ASStros.

 

As it stands, they’re one game ahead of the Royals with two games left to play.

 

I don’t know which of them has the tiebreaker if they come up even.

The Sox losses also helped the Royals get a wild card berth.  Maybe the last good thing to come out of Chicago for a while.

You have to watch MLB Network.  They’ve given it a good bit of coverage and commentary.
