I grew up on the South Side of Chicago and have attended many games at old Comiskey Park [and 1 at the new park, when we went back to visit]. This is cringe worthy, even after so many bad and mediocre teams. Wow....just wow...

I don';t hate the White Sox but they're in our division (Cleveland) so I root against all teams in the ALC.

If the Phillies could win out they would reach 100, they just lost to the Mets and they three more with them!

 

The Phillies have clinched a playoff berth and possibly home field through the playoffs. Their schedule LOOKS softer than the Dodgers or the Brewers.

 

Personally, I hope the Mets sweep ‘em!!

Mets beat the Phillies again last night. The Rockies beat the Dodgers, (OOH! It hurts me to even mention them!).

Tuesday they play play the impressive  63 and 93 Angels. 

 

I think the excitement will be able to fill a thimble. 

 

Honestly,  I  think it will be a good game,  Angels wanting to get into the books as the team that handed the White Sox their record breaking loss,  and the Sox trying to not break that record.

Gettin’ interestin’!!  D-backs lost to the Giants tonight. Mets play the next three at the Braves and the Padres play three with the (OOH! Still can’t stand saying) Dodgers!

 

One of the better last weeks in the National League.

 

Still got the AL West to settle with Seattle hanging on by a thread. The cheatin’ Asstros gotta win just one! The Royals, Tigers, Twins, Orioles, and Seahawks are fighting for those wild card spots and even the Red Sox ain’t mathematically out yet.

 

….and I’m figuring the White Sox for that 124 I was sayin’ earlier!

NL West almost always is interesting in the last week of the season.  I remember back in '05 that there was a possibility that whoever took the division would be .500 or under.  Padres ended up 82-80.  That's  .506.
