Yul Lose Posted February 26 Share Posted February 26 (edited) I got up yesterday morning and the battery was dead on my truck so down to Auto Zone for a new one. Put me back about an hour. I got here last night and got the trailer parked. As usual on the first night I woke up at 1:00 and couldn’t get back to sleep. So I got here plenty early. Leadbender met me coming in and it was sure good to see him again. As you can see from the pictures I might be here a tad early. LB tells me they’ve got 24-25 carts reserved!! That’s a lot more than the last two years. Minnesota Clay will be here around 7;00, he helps run the Cart Corral. It was 63 degrees when I got here so I doubt I’ll fire up the fire pit or don the buffalo coat this morning. EOT is something that I look forward to every year, I’ve never shot the match but being here to help out and seeing everyone is what I like. I’d encourage every CAS participant to visit an EOT just to see what it’s like. The people that have been working literally from the last EOT deserve all the accolades for their hard work, it’s really a special event. I discovered it last year and every morning I pick up 2 donuts for myself and 2 for Clay. Those 4 donuts cost $20.00.
