Yeldog 4078
Looking for an 1873 lever action in 357mag Winchester or Uberti with 26” or longer barrel. What you got hiding in the safe? Edited February 20 by Yeldog 4078

Choctaw Jack
Heard of 24" and 30" , but never a 26". Maybe a 30" cut down.
Happy Appy
Think Jack is right 24 or 30 but never 26
Tex Jones, SASS 2263
The only lever action rifles I have seen with 26 inch barrels are 1886 Winchester/Browning or Pedersoli, all in 45-70 caliber.
Abilene, SASS # 27489
Sorry kids, but Uberti only makes the 30" 1873 in 44-40 and 45 Colt. The longest the .357 1873 comes is 24". The only possibility might be a '73 Musket, rare as hen's teeth and I can't say if those were made in .357 but I doubt it. With enough $$ anything is possible, so you could buy a 30" .44 or .45 and have the barrel sleeved and chambered to .357 and chopped to your preferred length. Changing the bolt and carrier would be easy. This would also be a very heavy gun. Another reason they don't make the 1860 Henry in .357.
Injun Ryder, SASS #36201L
The Uberti 30" 1873 musket was made in 45 and 44-40. Supposedly about six were imported to the US. In 2012, we were able to account for five in SASS. Three 44-40's and two 45's. Mine is one of the 44-40's. The Winchester musket was only in 44-40.
