colored contact lenses

How well do they block the underlying color?

I have blue eyes. I'm fairly certain that if I got some brown contact lenses it would look like I have brown eyes. The brown would completely cover up the blue.

But if I had brown eyes and wanted to look like I had blue eyes, would the blue lens cover up the brown eye?

There was a Specialist 4 on Okinawa who had bright blood red contacts.  Said it fascinated the local girls and scared hell our of the local guys.

He was one of my company clerks and I made him stop wearing them at work.  Had some officers senior to me who suggested it wasn't professional.

They work really well. There was a pretty black lady at work that wore purple contacts. They made her even prettier.

One guy had blue lenses and had brown eyes. I couldn’t tell he had brown eyes under those lenses.
He got them because he thought girls would like him with blue eyes.
I asked him what he was going to do once the girl learns he has brown eyes. He didn’t know.
He wasn’t real bright.

You can tell if you REALLY look into their eyes from a close distance. The outside edges give it away.

Course, getting that close these days gets one called a weird old man.

Watching this TV show last night. Serial killer had decided that people with two different colored eyes were evil, and he needed to save the world by killing as many of them as he could.

And they have him in interrogation, and they tell him that his theory that people with two different colored eyes were evil was stupid - an old legend.

And he said no that wasn't true. That he knew it for a fact. Because he was evil. Then he reached up and took the brown contact lens out of his left eye and there he is with two different colored eyes.

And it made me idly wonder if instead of covering up the blue eye with a brown lens, he had decided to cover the brown eye with a blue lens, and would it work.

For people that wonder where I come up with this crap.
