Cholla
Call and ask a scrap metal dealer what they sell lead for. I buy lots of sheet and roofer's lead from a scrap yard.
Garrison Joe, SASS #60708
Sheet lead is very close to 100% lead. Especially if solder joints are kept out and the sheets are clean (no roofing tar, paint, etc). As such, and with the spot price of lead today being $0.96 a pound, you ought to be able to ask and get about 75% of that. But, all depends on the buyer. Scrap dealer will want considerable room to make profit. A caster (end user) will be close to that 72 cents a pound level. Deduct some value for buyer transporting more than 50 miles. good luck, GJ
SHOOTIN FOX
If it is clean, $1 a pound. Dirty with asphalt in it .50 a pound.
Warden Callaway
I paid $50 for 90 lb of lead pipe. Melted it down into ingots and lost very little. But scrap prices very every day. https://www.scrapmetalpricer.com/scrap-metal-prices-per-pound-in-missouri/columbia/
