X Mark Posted April 11, 2023 Posted April 11, 2023 Up for sale is a C Sharps reproduction of the original C Sharps 1875 " New Model Business Rifle". This rifle was built in 1988 in the Sharps shop in Big Timber Montana . It features a 26 inch barrel ,a single trigger that is very "clean" and "crisp". The stock is a beautiful piece of walnut with a Schnabel forearm. The mid-range sight doesn't exhibit any makers mark but it comes with several front sight apertures . Included is the original paperwork from the C Sharps folks ( looks like it was a mimeographed copy ). Asking $1750 / shipped. Thank you for looking !
Percy Hallen Sass #1379 Posted April 11, 2023 Posted April 11, 2023 I believe they used Douglas barrels. Accurate guns.

Uriah, SASS # 53822 Posted April 25, 2023 Posted April 25, 2023 X Mark, Does the lever closed all the way when you grip the rifle? I have a Shiloh Sharps that had a weak lever spring, 1999 production, 2004 failure year. The lever rammed my middle finger every time I would fire it. Shiloh replaced it at the Quigley. I like the single trigger. Mighty tempting. Uriah
X Mark Posted April 25, 2023 Author Posted April 25, 2023 Uriah , The lever spring is very tight on this gun. The lever snaps back into place after loading. I'm sure that you probably go to "half cock" before you try to work the lever . Thanks for looking !! X Mark
