I saw one comment, "Rumor is his last words were, 'it hit the ground.'" but I think that's just good natured bantering. A couple of months ago I finally saw a guy outside a house that has all sorts of Pittsburgh banners in front. I stopped, rolled down the window and asked him if he was the Pittsburgh fan. When he said, "Yep, sure am!" I said, "That ball hit the ground!"(my standard greeting to anyone who displays Steeler regalia). He didn't even hesitate a second, held his hands about 4" apart, "Nah, at least this far off the ground," he said while shaking his head. We had a good natured conversation for about 5 minutes. I can use that line to any football fan over the age of, oh, 45, and they know exactly what game you are talking about. ADDED:. He was a joy to watch. And that one play is a great ice breaker.
