Chief Rick Posted January 21, 2022 Posted January 21, 2022 I reckon it's time to invest in one of these. Any preference?
DeaconKC Posted January 21, 2022 Posted January 21, 2022 I just replaced my old one with the Frankford Arsenal one that uses Lee shell holders. I like it a lot.
Turquoise Bill, SASS #39118 Posted January 21, 2022 Posted January 21, 2022 Hornady Cam Lock Bullet puller https://www.hornady.com/reloading/presses/lock-n-load-accessories/bullet-pullers-bullet-collets/#!/ I have used one of these for over 10 years, works great, get the correct size collet for the bullet diameter you are going to pull. https://www.hornady.com/reloading/presses/lock-n-load-accessories/bullet-pullers-bullet-collets/#!/ TB
Chief Rick Posted January 21, 2022 Author Posted January 21, 2022 After a brief search (Midway USA and Brownell's) it looks like I'll have to go with the Hornady. RCBS is out of stock.
Hells Comin Posted January 22, 2022 Posted January 22, 2022 The cam lock is designed for jacketed rifle bullets. Little surface area to grab onto and Crunches lead pistol bullets in my experience.

At one point I pulled 300+ bullets to check an issue I had with powder levels. They cam lock unit works great! TB
