The bankruptcy of Remington had NOTHING to do with the products or the staff/facilities. The holding companies that bought Remington used Remington’s good credit to fund other holdings and pay off the debts of those other holdings. They ran up huge debt in Remington’s name to pay off other debts and then defaulted on those loans. They then separated those other holdings and dropped the firearms and ammunition company into bankruptcy!! It’s a common practice in the financial world.
