I have a 4 5/8 Ruger old  model Vaquero 44/40 that I bought thinking it was a 38/40. It is case hardened and I’ll load pictures 850.00 to your FFL

I admit I am stunned that this hasn't been snatched up. It is an original Vaquero, so it will last forever. It has the color case hardened frame which is rare these days. It is chambered in one of the original "cowboy" calibers which hasn't been offered in a decade or more, and it has one of the most desirable length barrels. If it had the Rampant Colt on the frame it would be selling at more than three times this amount.

Folks may be thinking of matching their firearms for a pair and don't have or cannot find a match.
