Trailrider #896 Posted March 5, 2021 Posted March 5, 2021 Had a fellow AFROTC cadet whose last name was Kidd. No doubt he got "kidded" when he made captain!
DocWard Posted March 5, 2021 Posted March 5, 2021 I may have told this before, but when I got out of Basic Training and AIT, and back to college, I considered ROTC. The phone rang, then a serious voice answered “ROTC, Major Dick speaking, how may I help you?” I hung up... I just couldn’t.
St. Louis Suomi SASS #31905 Posted March 5, 2021 Posted March 5, 2021 My ROTC Officer in charge in HS was Captain J. W. Cannon, Arty. We got a kick out of that. STL Suomi
Birdgun Quail, SASS #63663 Posted March 5, 2021 Posted March 5, 2021 I served with a Major Minor, Major Sargent, and a Major Payne.
