Chicago kidd Posted February 20, 2021 Posted February 20, 2021 Good evening. I’m in merrillville Indiana and wondered if you can ship primed shells. I have about 95 primed nickel plated primed 357 mag shells I don’t need but not sure if I can ship them if I sell them
Turkey Flats Jack Posted February 20, 2021 Posted February 20, 2021 Ive seen primed shotshells get shipped but I'd be lying if I said it was legal for sure. I'd be interested if it is.

Cholla Posted February 20, 2021 Posted February 20, 2021 I believe it has to be via UPS, not USPS. Ammo needs to have the hazard label on it.
Lucky Lawdog Posted February 20, 2021 Posted February 20, 2021 You can't ship primers or powder without a hazmat license (legally that is) primed case are ok to ship.

Warden Callaway Posted February 20, 2021 Posted February 20, 2021 There was a long topic about that very thing in Saloon recently.
Marshall Matt Dillon Posted February 20, 2021 Posted February 20, 2021 For info: primed cases cannot be shipped by usps at all. Primed cases may legally be shipped ground by ups or fedex.
