Grayrock, SASS #64093 2
I have shot a target that is a shotgun knockdown that throws a can into the air. I can not seem to find one to purchase. Are these all homemade? Does anyone know where I might buy one?
Chuck Steak 341
https://custommetalprod.com/bird-thrower-popper-c03 They also make an adapter version that can be used with just about any knock down target that you already have.
Eyesa Horg 1,672
Years ago "Cree Vicer Dave" IIRC had plans to build one. It was quite large however.
Joke 'um 1,032
Our club has a couple that throw charcoal briquettes. Heavy monsters. Might need a tractor to move one that can throw (full?) cans.
Arizona Gunfighter 391
Our club, the Whiskey Row Gunslingers has exactly what you are describing. You may want to contact our TG, Turquoise Bill and ask him about it: turquoisebill@cableone.net It was a club prop long before I got there. AG
Red Wolf 88
They have a can thrower at the Ledyard Sidewinders. It really isn't that big or heavy if I remember correctly. Red Wolf
Dirty Dan Dawkins 895
I like the one at Milan Gun Club. It sends beer into orbit
Ethan Cord 214
JJ Johnson from Cajon Cowboys in So Cal used to make them, not sure if he still does. I bought two from him quite a spell back. They will toss cans or clay pigeons.

I dislike this design. They throw the can/bird/briquet towards the shooter tempting them to break the 170 as it flys over their head. I prefer throwers that toss objects downrange.
