joachim slim
Does anyone have any leather big enough to cut me a belt? It needs to be 2 3/4"---3" wide and 68" long. I dont care if the leather has scratches, blemishes, brand mark, wrinkle or what ever. It can be plain, brown or black. This is just the main belt. I will add my own buckle strap and my own tightening/adjusting strap. (I let someone borrow my belt. When they finally returned it, it was ruined). Could someone help me out? DeaconKC
Go to Rural King, they have harnesses for horses that will work for a belt.

DeaconKC
I just measured my old duty belt that I made from them. It is 2 1/2", I don't know if it is in 2 3/4".If you have an Amish saddlemaker nearby, they could probably make one up for you.

Johnny Dollar
I’ve built belts from these blanks on eBay. Not as good of leather as the Herman Oak but half the price. $40 bucks. If you can build the rest it’s good leather. this is a rig I built using a blank similar to that but I think four inches. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Vegetable-Tanned-8-9-3-6MM-Cow-Leather-Tooling-Strap-Belt-Blank-Strip-Three-3-In/153472766115?hash=item23bbb090a3:g:Y~gAAOSw3eRcyx0x

Doc Marks
I have a couple 11-14oz hides and I’m thinking I can probably find a suitable piece for you. This is heavy stuff though, but if you want I’ll check when I’m back home this weekend.
