Three Foot Johnson Posted January 3, 2020 Posted January 3, 2020 ... maybe not "mail", exactly, but FedEx, UPS, and others too... I've got a friend who ordered some drawer hardware for his kitchen remodeling project. The stuff arrived yesterday, but the box was damaged - torn open and taped back together again. Nothing was missing or broken, but there were two boxes of Fiocchi .40 S&W ammo inside with the drawer slides & pulls. Very weird.
Sixgun Sheridan Posted January 3, 2020 Posted January 3, 2020 In other words, somebody else just received a taped-up package from an ammo wholesaler and two boxes of ammo are missing.
Father Kit Cool Gun Garth Posted January 3, 2020 Posted January 3, 2020 ,@Three Foot Johnson So that's where my order for 2 boxes of Fiocchi .40 S&W ammo went! As a friendly gesture, you can keep them, and consider it as a gift from a fellow pard.
Hardpan Curmudgeon SASS #8967 Posted January 3, 2020 Posted January 3, 2020 So if your buddy didn't already have one, he now has a reason - an obligation, even! - to go out and buy hisself a pistol to shoot them "Forty Short & Wimpies!"
Cypress Sun Posted January 3, 2020 Posted January 3, 2020 Wow, they can't even give .40 ammo away now.
Pat Riot Posted January 3, 2020 Posted January 3, 2020 It’s a new advertising ploy by the Firearms Manufacturers Consortium and Polo Club. They pay the carrier to slip the ammo into your package in the hopes you’ll go buy a new gun to shoot it with. I am hoping to get a couple of boxes of 10mm or .44 Magnum. How cool would that be...I need to order some hardware...
Cypress Sun Posted January 4, 2020 Posted January 4, 2020 Last time I ordered drawers all I got was underwear.
