Driftwood Johnson, SASS #38283 Posted January 16, 2019 Share Posted January 16, 2019 Howdy My 2nd Model Russian is probably a little bit older than the one's you guys have, it left the factory in 1875. I really don't like shooting it in CAS. I only shoot duelist style, and that big pointy hump on the grip makes me regrip every time I cock the thing, and then regrip again every time I pull the trigger. If I don't regrip before pulling the trigger, the pointy hump digs into the base of my thumb and it hurts. Maybe you guys are shooting two handed? That would probably negate the need to regrip. I had the holster made by El Paso Saddlery a few years ago. It also fits my New Model Number Threes and an open top Merwin Hulbert. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
