Badger Mountain Charlie SASS #43172
When you need him? I was watching the Heritage golf tournament in North Carolina. Along comes this fat and sassy alligator, looked to be ~6 or 8 feet long. Didn't know golf was a blood sport.
Father Kit Cool Gun Garth
So some say. That's why I don't play golf here in Florida.

Dirty Low Down sass 23492
Few years back my younger brother was at Air Force base in Homestead Fla.-----he went fishing on some of the ponds & lakes on base areas---left his tackle box on bank while he went to opposite side of pond----hour or so later he came back to get box----laying in sun next to tackle box was a VERY big salt water crocodile----it took him 2 days to get up enough nerve to go get his box!! TN Mongo, SASS #61450
I just played golf with my son (a Navy doctor) at the Paris Island course in South Carolina. We counted 21 gator in the various ponds on the course. I step out of the cart on one hole and did not see 10-12 footer that was only about 15 feet away until my son told me to look behind me very slowly. Needless to say, I moved the cart and I used a "foot-wedge" to move my ball a little further away from the beast.

TN Mongo, SASS #61450
Badger, I often have an AR 15 in the locked well of my SUV. My son suggested that we not try to take that with us onto a Marine base. Something about the brig for him and prison for me.
