Trigger Mike Posted March 5, 2018 Posted March 5, 2018 On an old computer I had the sellers of muskets bookmarked. I am still looking into buying a 1795 Springfield, but Dixie i 1450. A non firing is close to 700. I did an internet search but got a lot of other sites as well and very few selling sites.

Trigger Mike, Try here: https://www.davide-pedersoli.com/scheda-prodotto.asp/l_en/idpr_70/rifles-1795-springfield-1795-springfield.html Great looking firearm.
Marshal Hangtree Posted March 6, 2018 Posted March 6, 2018 This is a good deal: http://www.militaryheritage.com/musket17.htm Current state is non-firing, but all you have to do is drill out the vent hole. Hard to beat for $549.
Sedalia Dave Posted March 6, 2018 Posted March 6, 2018 I believe this is closer to what you are looking for. They are fully functional and can be fired. http://www.veteranarms.com/ReproductionMuzzleloadersandFlintlocks/1795-Springfield.html Quote Are Veteran Arms’ muskets real firearms? Can they be fired live? Yes. All of our muskets are fully functional and may be fired live with powder and ball. As with any muzzleloading firearm, however, care should be taken to follow the proper loading and firing procedures. Each musket is shipped with an owners manual that outlines the specifications for that musket including the recommended powder charge and ball size. All of our weapons are designed to fire black powder ONLY. Smokeless powders and blackpowder substitutes should never be used. NEVER exceed the recommended powder charge.
Buffalo Creek Law Dog Posted March 6, 2018 Posted March 6, 2018 Try "Track of the Wolf", they sell flinters.
