Smoken D
My back of the house faces to the Southeast and the first photo was taken on the first day of summer this year. The second was taken today, have not seen the sun in over a week. Just did not remember where I took that Summer photo, but you can tell how much distance there is between summer sunrise location and winter location. A lot, guess we bobble around on our axes. Wish there was a way to overlap the photos, that would be cool.
Pulp, SASS#28319
Should be 47 degrees of angle between the two suns, if you had a way to measure it.
Marshal Mo Hare, SASS #45984
If you were to take a picture from a fixed location, say every week or the nearest sunny day and plot the location of the sun in the picture you would see a figure 8 pattern, an anilemma. It is the 8 that you see on globes of earth.

Marshal Mo Hare, SASS #45984
Many years ago a photographer published photos that he did for this. Placed a camera on a tripod in an unused room facing south and took a picture once per week. The first attempt failed because at some time the sun was above the window. He her shot one picture at full aperture and the rest at 1/64. If it was cloudy, he shot the next day or even the next day but always at the same time in the morning
Pat Riot
It appears your photos aren't at the same angle which also makes the sunrises in each photo appear further apart. Also, Latitude plays a part. Below are some links that will show sun azimuth angle and calculations. The sun in Springfield MO on both Jue 21st and Dec 21st should be around 62 degrees in difference if I am reading this right. https://www.sunearthtools.com/dp/tools/pos_sun.php http://revelle.net/lakeside/solardata/solar.html https://www.latlong.net/ Also, who's in the coffin? You might want to edit that summer photo to get rid of the incriminating evidence.

True, because as we know, if the earth was flat cats would have knocked everything off by now.
Cyrus Cassidy #45437
Yes, it has long been established the earth wobbles on its axis a little. The fact you're observant enough to see some of the same things and draw similar conclusions to people like Kepler and Galileo is pretty cool, though.
