Probably is correct, but it happens. I've seen times here it will be raining in the front yard but not the back or vice versa. I had a great uncle that farmed for decades up around Lubbock. He always swore you could lean a double barrel shotgun up against a fence and the rain could fill up one barrel and the other stay perfectly dry!
