LawMan Mark, SASS #57095L
Got a waffle maker for Christmas. Made them twice so far. Buttermilk recipe, last batch was with blueberries in them. Bacon or sausage, maple syrup and real butter. Froze a couple of extras we made. Gonna try defrosting and nuking in the microwave to see if they're fit to eat. Subdeacon Joe
Waffles with butter, a touch of powdered sugar and some fresh peaches. Or Diced apples sauted in butter and cinnamon. Other way, if you don't want sweet, go with a side of pork chops.
Curley Cole, SASS #56849
Ifn you want a really good Sourdough waffle, add 2 tbs of oil to my Sourdough Pancake recipe. These are best in a belgian maker, and as the batter expands LOTS, be careful not to over fill the maker. serve as you like..... curley

Badger Mountain Charlie SASS #43172
Never tried em with marionberry. Maybe that would be a good shot. Waffles, toasty brown and crisp on the outside, a large amount of real butter, and some MARIONBERRY jam. I cud do that, with bacon, coffee by. Stack has gotta be large though. LawMan Mark, SASS #57095L
Got the one I froze a few days ago out of the ice box this morning and nuked it for about two minutes. Couldn't tell it from when it was fresh off the waffle iron. I'll be doing a LARGE batch the next time I'm mixing batter.
Yuma Devil Dog
Law man, when we freeze our extras we put em in the toaster, we even bought one with extra large slots so the sqares will fit. come out crispy and delicious as well. Waffles are indeed good with all sorts of things, ie. Chicken n waffles, pork chops and steak. breakfast, luch, dinner or a snack, you cant beat them! I could go on about waffles like bubba on shrimp!
