Kid Rich replied to Shifty Jack, SASS #65353's topic in SASS Wire Classifieds
I have plenty of brass. If you are interested PM me and I'll figure out how much extra I have and will PM you on price ,etc. I also have an extra set of Lee 32 H&R dies. Same as what my wife is using on her Dillon right now. kR PM sent -

Using that would be tantamount to being stuck with the catch and release policies of some of the cities or states that seem to like letting the criminals return to their methods of making a living. I think I will stick to the more time proven methods of crime control. I think it is morally wrong to kill without justification but I would deal with that rather than have to deal with a repeat offense from the same individual. kR

A .457 RB does a good job of providing a light but accurate load. Also a 300g conical is very accurate. kR

Regarding categories. It is the MD's discretion/duty to select what categories will be allowed at a match. Doesn't say anything about whether SASS recognizes a category or not. kR -

frontiersman Frontiersman help - Caps fire but fail to ignite BP
Kid Rich replied to Choctaw Kid Tulsa's topic in SASS Wire
If you are only using 20gs of powder you might consider upping that by 5-7gs. If you are nit getting enough blowback to clear the nipple you will have ignition problems on subsequent loadings. My wife shoots 36's and uses 20gs of 3f. kR -

My local recycler pays me more for separating the primers from the rest of the brass. Easily done just don't mix it to start with. kR

Another device by the same name would probably hold a tablet or small laptop. kR

Sometimes the anvil is not correctly installed and will cause the primer to stick in the pickup tube and/or cause hard seating. kR

First thing I would do is slug the bore on both revolvers. If the one that is giving you a problem is larger you have your answer. It is almost a guarantee you will have leading if your bore is oversized and you are shooting hardcast. kR

About the only people in my contact list with real names are family and only about 1/3 of those are in there. Maybe 10% are real names. kR -
