  1. The police had one here also but a lot of mine were prefilled syringes. They wouldn't take those for some reason. Horace
  2. Some drugstores have a depository container (here it's CVS) that you can deposit that into. I had lots of meds to put in that. Horace
  3. Not a '92, but I have a Chiappa 1886 and it's a very nice gun. Horace

  8. Some time ago I bought one of these revolvers off the classified here. I decided it needed a twin so I ordered one from Cimarron. I picked it up today from my dealer. One is made by Uberti and the new one is made by Pietta, according to Cimarron. I have not found Pietta markings on it yet. They are almost identical. The Pietta gun front sight is closer to the front of the barrel, cylinder beveling is slightly different but a great pair, I think. In the pic, Uberti on top, Pietta on bottom. Now for holsters. Who is your go to ? Horace
  9. My older brother (not in CAS) tries to find unique ways to use SPAM. I told him if was in SASS he could be Spam Elliot
  10. I guess you would have to see how perfect this fits the bore. There is no wobble at all. Of course, if I were a gunsmith, I would use a gunsmith tool. Horace
  11. All of my CAS guns are in 45 Colt. Concerning the revolvers, I have occasionally wondered if the cylinder/barrel alignment is an issue. I've never had an issue with this but I was looking for something that would be the size of the bore and long enough to check. So today, I went to Home Depot to find something that would be about .45" diameter and long enough to check my 10" Wyatt Earp guns. It seemed that nothing was the right size....until I looked at the tool section with drill bits etcetera. So Milwaukee tools makes a 12" extension for bits and screws. The end for the bits looked darn close( I took an empty 45 case with me). I bought it, took it home and sure enough it was perfect. I tried it on two different revolvers. I'm sure there must be a gunsmith tool for this but this was less than $11. The guns I checked were aligned perfectly. Please excuse my excitement about something that works! Horace
  12. I am working on a knife sheath that is dark brown. At Tandy Leather, I bought some punches and turquoise leather lacing and artificial sinew. Tandy leather has LOTS of stuff. Fortunately a store is just a few minutes from me. Horace
  13. They must be related! They have the same last name. Horace
  14. I was referring to page 30 of Captain Baylor's book. That is what the book says. Also, any other sight with the white diamond; the diamond must be blacked out. Horace
  15. I'm thinking that rear sight would not be allowed. It's the bullseye sight and considered a peep sight. Maybe someone has some other info about it. Horace
  16. Augustus, looks like a bullet hole in that chair ! Horace
  17. If you can find 9mm with 147 grain bullet, I believe that is subsonic. 45 ACP definitely. Horace
  18. Just got my box of 1500 bullets Tuesday. It weighed 45 pounds. My wife could barely move it. I'm glad she was here ! Horace
