Willie Nelson - Delivered eggs to him when I was a Room Service waiter. Richard Kiel - Met him at a book signing, very pleasant man. Ray Manzarek - Got angry with me when I asked him what it was like playing with The Who back in '68...... David Bowie - Approached him and asked 'Hey, you're that David Bowie guy aren't you? 'Yes I am' he said with total graciousness. Pete Townshend - At a book signing/performance for his partner John Entwistle - Meet and great after a solo performance Roger Daltrey - While waiting for a train at the Amtrak station Always wanted to meet Lloyd Lindsay Young, and Dennis Hopper. Too late for Dennis Hopper.

also reduces leading I'm told. I'll probably try a box for Wild Bunch when my current supply runs out.

I always thought the theme song for They Call Him Cemetery would make a good SASS song, but that's just me, and I'm biased towards it obviously... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tIcQ7E0b4bw

Ya know, I creeped on the Winchester website, and boy it looks rather nice. Might have to make room in my gun cabinet. http://www.winchesterguns.com/products/rifles/model-1866/model-1866s-in-current-production/1866-short-rifle.html

I used to shoot with Lester Moore somewhat regularly, was always helpful when I was a young pup in this game. I haven't seen him in like 5 years, heard he's practically dropped out of this game.

This all day long.

It might be a DIY job on your '60. I know Happy Trails in Rhode Island did a guy's '60 years ago, but Hap is now retired. Best bet would be to call Pioneer Gun Works, or Cowboys and Indians....since all the parts that everybody has comes from them. EDIT: Jimmy Spurs says on his website that he does action work for the '60. I got one of his rifles back in '08, started using it again this year since I forgot how much I like using it. http://www.cowboygunworks.com/work.html

If not for this thread, I would totally forgotten about my Derringer I have at the bottom of my cabinet. Haven't shot it in at least 8 years.

1873 or 92 rossi,taylor,cimarron or uberti
Cemetery replied to Chicago kidd's topic in SASS Wire Saloon
I had one of those 'slicked' up 92's, didn't work for @#$%! Talk about dealing with frustration, and fighting your rifle everytime you used it.....ugh.....this is were I heed the 'buy once cry once' school of thought. Ended up selling it for dirt cheap, the guy who bought it spent alot of time tinkering with it, and got it running real good. But that was my experience, which isn't definitive. Maybe ask around the clubs you want to shoot at, somebody might have something taking up space that they'd be willing to sell at an affordable price for you. Sometimes there's good deals here in the classifieds. Keep an eye out. -
My mistake, I meant to say Wisner's http://www.wisnersinc.com/model/1887-1901-lever-action/ They some, but not all of what you're looking for.....give 'em a jingle.

I had an old man tell me once, and quite belligerently, that I could not load black powder into shot gun shells..........

Buy guns at gun shows? I go for the beef jerky, and aluminum siding vendors.
-
Sorry I don't. But I cam tell you the parts were newly manufactured.

Try Pisco, I got screws and a hammer spring from them about 5 years ago. http://www.piscogunsmithing.com/contact.html

Best thing since beer in a can is the wooden or antler boolit pushers people have, I use them to set my caps after using the capper. -
