As Lumpy stated, the .454 Casull brass uses small primers. I often use Small Rifle in my reloads. AND, there is also a fair amount of .45 ACP brass that uses Small primers. BUT..... I don't think I've seen nor heard of any .45 Colt brass that uses Small primers. But I wouldn't be surprised. After all, there is some .45 Colt brass that uses Shotgun primers ..........Widder

Didn't we have this argument a while back?
Widder, SASS #59054 replied to Trailrider #896's topic in SASS Wire Saloon
Ain't it funny that its a States Right to determine Abortion and the guidelines for allowing it. BUT, when it comes to guarding our boarders, etc........ our Govt don't like 'States Rights' law. ..........Widder -
So true. AND..... the worse place to be is between TW and a place that sells 'Double Malted Chocolate Milk Shakes'. Seriously. Don't interfere with his travels to those places. Just last week, me, Blackwater and Randy St. Eagle jumped TW and tied his hands behind his back. THEN we sat one of them Double Malted shakes on top of his head and the poor soul bout slapped his brains out with his tongue trying to get to it. Ole TW carries extra strength, reenforce straws in his truck just for those shakes. Like I've said before, a feller just can't make this stuff up. ..........Widder

The side profile of that American soldier looks like Audie Murphy. ..........Widder

Howdy Imis. There's a difference between our association with TW. You shoot WITH him. I shoot AT him. He's a hard target cause he never stops nor slows down. His truck is made with 500AR steel doors and he's the only feller in America with 'BULL PROOF' glass all around him. ..........Widder

No Bud for me. I'm a Pepsi man, sometimes Mtn Dew or Coke, Dr.Pepper. Gotta stay sober to keep up with this crowd. ..........Widder

TW has been avoiding all us 'little people'...... those who ain't a 'black pin'. He's been kinda 'uppity' since he got his Black Pin. Says they'll be paying him MORE than PWB in 2024. He told me ifn he gets any smarter about the rules and regs, he's gonna request a 'Red Pin' and ask for 'CZAR' status in SASS. The TN State may have a 'CZAR DUELIST' category this year, just for TW. Hey, ya just can't make this stuff up. ..........Widder

Ah yea..... The Cowboy name TN Williams. The best friend a feller could never have. Rumor has it that ole TW has been busy hunting Snow Snakes around middle TN the past couple weeks. One of them bit him on the back side and nearly froze his ^$$ off. He told me that he's been cleaning up his 'gun room/man cave' the past couple weeks, finding stuff he thought was lost long ago. His wife told me that she hopes he finds his conscience and integrity. He apparently lost em both long ago. There is a faint rumor in Murfreesboro that TW is gonna invest in the Kentucky Jelly business. Some folks refer to this as KY Jelly... I shouldn't tell this, BUT........ Blackwater is sorta kin to TW ..........Widder

Calling All Warriors: What the heck is this thing?
Widder, SASS #59054 replied to Pat Riot's topic in SASS Wire Saloon
Reminds me of a ZULA warriors 'battle baton'. I think they were used to beat the end on the ground for a THUMP noise which was their device of communications with other groups. When thousands of Warriors pounded the ground with these 'batons', the sound was nerve wrecking to their enemies. If I'm wrong..... atleast my story sounds good. ..........Widder -

I figure the 125 grain or 135 grain 'Barnstormer' bullet would be about the lightest in .45 caliber. If anything lighter than those, then it would be your lightest load. ..........Widder

O.K, Saloonaholics, if anyone should know about good Popcorn, I figured you fellers would. Ole 'Orville' makes some good stuff, but I don't want to buy every brand to find the best. But I know some of you would have a good favorite microwavable popcorn. Thank you kindly. P.S. - being stuck inside during these snowy days in E. Tennessee, popcorn can become a favorite snack. ..........Widder

Randy, I'll tell you what appears to me in that video. TN Williams stuck his big boot out and tripped ya on purpose. That's why he wears those big boots. They're about 2 sizes bigger than his feet. ..........Widder

For many Marlin owners, the 'JM' marking means its an original Marlin. Supposedly, none of the Remington produced 'Marlins' ever had that marking. I have seen original Marlins without such a marking. ..........Widder

Its my understanding that a MDQ on side match day is ONLY for that day, but the MDQ is not carried over to the main match, assuming this is approved by the Match Director/club. BUT..... a MDQ on the 1st day of a multiple day match IS for the complete match. Is my understanding correct? ..........Widder

Golly Bull, Ifn you follow all the excellent advice given on this thread, you should be World Champeeeeen this year. Good luck. ..........Widder

That question also crossed my mind. It would have been easier to just put 'Guns'. or 'Firearms'. ..........Widder

Wouldn't you know it....... just when TN Williams was planning to put up his Halloween decorations, it snows. So sad! ..........Widder

I wonder WHY the sign says 'Guns, Pistols' instead of 'Rifles, Pistols'. ..........Widder

Larry Collins, RIP
Widder, SASS #59054 replied to Red Gauntlet , SASS 60619's topic in SASS Wire Saloon
I recently checked out a few of their YouTube videos. They were very entertaining and Larry was a darn good guitar picker and showman. RIP Larry and Lorrie. ..........Widder -

If your scratch/cut was from the Manura vine, which grows in the tops of oak trees, its possible you could get Hypocondriactism from bacteria in the docs mouth. This happened to TN Williams a few years back and it effected his left hand middle finger, especially when he's driving in heavy traffic. ..........Widder

I'm gonna give your number to your local Las Vegas 'Chippendale Dance Club' and have them put you on Robo Call. ..........Widder
