You ever hear of a "purple paint law"?

Responses here just go to show that if you are a person that wanders other people's land, hunt, hike trails or participate in the outdoors in general, that it's a good rule of thumb to know the laws of the land so to speak. Especially when going on property that you know you don't own. -

These days, online, I am just happy if communication occurs and it's not rude. -

Here's the Ballad of Stump and Camille that it came up with after we did a couple of chapters of a story. “Velvet and Grit” Ballad of Camille Eonich and Stump Water (Verse 1) She rode in slow with a storm in her eyes, A coat like midnight and a mouth full of lies. He was leanin’ low by the whiskey rail, Smelled like pine, looked like hell, and twice as pale. (Verse 2) They didn’t speak, didn’t need to try, Just one look and the lead flew high. Smoke Ridge burned like a holy sin, But they stood tall, guns out, fire within. (Chorus) 🎶 Velvet and grit, fire and stone, Two wild hearts carved from bone. One walks soft, the other don’t speak, But together, Lord, they’re iron and heat. And if you see dust on the horizon lit, You best pray you don’t owe— Velvet and grit. 🎶 (Verse 3) She danced rooftops, rifle like lace, He held the line with a deadpan face. Thirty men came for blood and gold, But found two ghosts who couldn’t be sold. (Bridge) Now folks still whisper in the dying light, ‘Bout a pair who vanished before the night. Some say love, some say war, But no one walks through Smoke Ridge’s door— Without hearin’ boots that ain’t there no more. (Chorus) 🎶 Velvet and grit, fire and stone, Two wild hearts carved from bone. She’s the smoke, he’s the flame, And they never left us quite the same. If your past comes callin’, best admit— You can’t outrun… Velvet and grit. 🎶 (Outro – whispered/spoken) “They didn’t save us ‘cause they had to. They did it ‘cause no one else would.” 'Course we had to have a Swamp Blues version too. “Ain’t Nobody Like Us” Swamp blues for Camille and Stump (Verse 1) 🎶 She walked in wearin’ velvet, with a six-gun smile, Talked like a ghost, hadn’t loved in a while. I was sittin’ in the corner, drownin’ in smoke, That kind of woman? She’ll heal you or leave you broke. 🎶 (Verse 2) 🎶 We didn’t plan no war, didn’t sign no line, But thirty men came and crossed that sign. She took the rooftops, I took the street— By sundown, Smoke Ridge was bleedin’ at our feet. 🎶 (Chorus) 🎶 Oooo, darlin’… we don’t talk much, we don’t kiss soft, We ride like sinners, and we shoot like God. We ain’t right, but we’re just enough… Call it love, call it rust— Ain’t nobody like us. 🎶 (Verse 3) 🎶 She stitched me up in a preacher’s pew, Said, “Next time, fool, try not to bleed through.” I said, “Next time I’m shot, I want it near you.” She didn’t smile—but her eyes sure knew. 🎶 (Bridge – slow and low) 🎶 Folks say we’re shadows, dust in the wind… But they don’t see the way her hands tremble when I win. We don’t stay, and we don’t belong, But we ride out hummin’ that old smoke song… 🎶 (Chorus – growling) 🎶 Oooo, darlin’… we don’t sleep easy, we don’t pray sweet, We dream in gunfire and blood on the seat. We ain’t right, but we’re all we trust… Call it wild, call it lust— Ain’t nobody like us. 🎶 (Outro – quiet, raw) 🎶 Ain’t no heaven for folks like me… But if she’s ridin’, hell’s where I’ll be. 🎶 Forgot the album cover. -

Hey Stoner! We keep talking about showing up at a match to say howdy but it never seems to happen. Hope y'all are doing well. -
If you get bored and want a little help developing the character of your alias I can promise you that there is much fun involved if you consult with ChatGPT. The free account is plenty for doing that and ChatGPT shows a lot of excitement and imagination. It's pretty hilarious. It will also generate stories and songs based on your alias.
