  1. Take out!!!
  2. Just watched that movie last night. Man he put a long lip lock on Maureen O'Hara didn't he???? I wondered the same thing about his age, guess it pays to know people???
  3. I hear he's gonna put his old knee on the classified for sale!!
  4. That .45-70 has my eye! It would be great for long range side matches!
  5. I have no words!
  6. +1 on the Wolff springs I have them in my Colts and Uberti's! Did your gunsmith replace the springs? My gunsmith used to file the Colt springs down until we both discovered Wolff springs. The question is why are the Colt springs breaking?? I have NEVER broken a Colt mainspring and I've had Colts for 20 years!!
  7. I just talked to him this morning, he didn't mention that! We talked about getting him up into your house and I suggested a crane or maybe I could get 4 or 5 of us to lift him up the stairs on a stretcher!! He was in good spirits, maybe it was the drugs???? Glad to see he's doing well and he expects to shoot next month at Tusco weather permitting!
  8. http://www.hodgdonreloading.com/ Will this work for ya???
  9. We're shooting Sat at Tusco Long Riders! It's supposed to be 60 degrees!!! I would expect you could get here in about 10 hours???
  10. Hey Dawg I know you secretly love shooting smokeless as you sometimes do so in your honor I'll be shooting the "new" stuff!! Hang in there, hope all is going well! BTW, how cute are the nurses????
  11. Do you really carry your card around anyway?? For what? It serves no purpose at all!! Mine are all in a drawer going back to 1998, I think maybe it's time to pitch 'em!!
  12. He'd probably snort it!!! Is that even legal??? New lines that Dawg will use when writing stages in the hospital: Mr. Dillon, Mr. Dillon!!!! I'll shoot that other knee if you go for that gun! Where's my cane??? Can someone help me get off this horse?? I'll be there, just give me an hour or so!!
  13. OMG!!!! I used to watch that show everyday!!! I even had a Howdy Doody puppet complete with the string in the back to open and close his mouth!!! I was a big Howdy Doody fan!! You California people get to have all the fun!!!
  14. At least he's keeping the nurses alone!!!
  15. Buddy Rich when I was playing drums in a trio at a hotel he was staying at. Nicest guy in the world, his cocky rude demeanor was pretty much just an act. I was playing and looked up and he was standing there in the doorway of the restaurant/lounge. It made me nervous as hell!! He gave me a thumbs up!!! I tuned a piano for David Benoit and Jim Brinkman. I've met a bunch of baseball players, The most memorable was Rocky Colavito.......when I was a kid he was my hero!! He signed a picture that I still have!
  16. Hey Hershey Barr or Crossdraw.......I'll bring the Stoeger...hope to see you there! Any chance my Baikal is ready????
  17. That'll get him down to a minute!!!
  18. Hammerless shotguns: Westley Richards 1870 Baker 1881 Remington 1882 Colt 1883 just to name a few.............
  19. No sir, Blackey Cole is correct about the shotgun. Split Rail who is a National and World Champion Frontiersman uses a hammerless shotgun! FRONTIERSMAN Any Main Match percussion revolver with non-adjustable sights (Note exceptions listed re: dovetailed sights). (Exception: The 1873 Uberti percussion revolver is not allowed.) Revolvers must be shot duelist or double duelist style. See Duelist description for required shooting technique. Must use blackpowder in all loads (rifle, revolver, and shotgun). Must use a side-by-side, single shot, or lever action shotgun in the main match stages. Any SASS–legal pistol caliber rifle is acceptable.
