sassnetguy50 Posted November 10, 2024 Posted November 10, 2024 How do you pick grandchildren Christmas gifts? Set a budget per kid? One gift or multiple? Tell the grandchild's parents to get one for you? Take them for an experience with grandpa? Ask each if they were naughty or nice? ...
Red Gauntlet , SASS 60619 Posted November 10, 2024 Posted November 10, 2024 Wife figures it out. Twelve grandkids, from 12 to 31. Three of them married. Now six great grandkids. Then there's the five kids and three spouses. She likes to buy for all. I flee as far as I can.
Marshal Mo Hare, SASS #45984 Posted November 10, 2024 Posted November 10, 2024 My daughters made it easy, only the kids, not adults.
Blackwater 53393 Posted November 10, 2024 Posted November 10, 2024 Schoolmarm handles the chore! I see to it that their transportation is in order! The older one has a nice late model car that his other grandparents gave him for high school graduation. Both of them have passed, so we just make sure it’s in good shape. The younger one has an old, but fairly nice, small pickup. It needs some trim and the passenger door replaced where the idiot that owned it messed it up. I’ve found and bought all the pieces needed and his dad and I will have it in tip top shape for Christmas. We only have the two! They live close and visit often, so we usually know what they need and what they like!
Wild Eagle Posted November 10, 2024 Posted November 10, 2024 My grandnieces give me access to their Amazon Christmas wish list. I just pick out something in my price range and have it delivered to my house. I wrap it and give it to the girls at Christmas. Works pretty well. Quote
