Memory - it's a wonderful thing

I can easily remember stuff from years ago. And the coffee thread I was talking about something I told Allie three or four years back.

Not that far back - not always that easy to recall.

I placed an order with Amazon the other week. Several things, one of which was a bottle of fingernail polish (primer sealer. You can pay $6 for a bottle of primer sealer or you can pay a buck and a quarter bottle of nail polish and it's the same stuff). All the other stuff is due to arrive on the 2nd, but for some reason they decided that the fingernail polish should arrive today.

So I have been peeking out the front door every once in awhile to see if there might be a package out there. Nada.

And then it occurs to me that since it's a small item, it should be a small package, and the Amazon delivery guy might put it in the mailbox. He's not supposed to - only thing that's supposed to go in the mailbox is mail - but he might.

So I go out and open the mailbox and there is this huge damn package in there. And I'm wondering just how much packaging they put around that half ounce bottle of nail polish.

Because I had completely forgotten that I had 500 rounds of pistol brass showing up today.

So I have my brass, but I still don't have my nail polish.

otto - every time I use the word BRASS, otto changed it to BREATH.  Every time.

Except just a bit ago when I said PISTOL BRASS. That time he wrote GRASS.

Made me think that it might not actually be otto today. Maybe he was sick and had a substitute.

But then in the next sentence I said that I had my BRASS, and he wrote BREATH, so I guess he's okay.

Ya just gotta love Otto, not! He does let me type numbers though without changing them to script.

Why don't you all simply disconnect otto.  I don't know how to it.....but my daughter did and I haven't had to deal with otto for about three years.

Now, punctuation is another thing all together.

And neither do I.

I think it's this phone. I not only don't recall having these problems before I got this phone, I recall teething people who complained about otto. "Just turn it off!"

When I wrote that, it said TEASING.

otto changed it to TEETHING.

I caught it when I proof read. I changed it back. I proof read again, to make sure.

And, apparently, as I was pushing the submit button, the schweinehund changed it again.

Otto isn't even in my life.  How could he take anything over?
