Update: for those wondering what this is all about just do a search for otto here in the Saloon (for Alpo) and you will see all of Alpo's post where his computer thought it knew more about what he was trying to say then he did. LOL

No. The correct way to do this is:

 

I was in the Saloon (ACS) earlier today ...

 

Whenever you are referring to this place, you say Saloon (ACS). ACS - Always Capitalize Saloon.

 

If you are talking about Miss Kitty's saloon on Gunsmoke, or any other random saloon in the world, use lowercase.

 

But if you're talking about The Saloon (ACS), you capitalize it and then follow with the ACS in parentheses.

You still didn't address the Capitalize in you comment only needing a small c. LOL

 

I guess you could say I am new, only been in here for about 5 years unlike some of you OLD DOGS..

ii can relate to that as well , my computer thinks it knows what i want to say a lot of the time - not so much as my phone these days but way more than i like to allow - gotta override it sometimes - say what you really mean to say
