.45 Colt or .38-40,,, In both rifle and Pistols...

With guns I have now?  I could do a pistol/rifle combo with 40, 357, or 44. I like the 44 best but...just for fun I picked up and old Ruger 45 colt. Big mistake. I LOVE shooting that gun!  Do I need to get a rifle so I can pick it?

Anything you want. If you like a 7mm Pinfire you can choose that.

You're asking a bunch of gun nuts if you should buy another gun.

 

Of course, you need a .45 Colt rifle!

 

 

 

WhilexI love my Uberti '73, I suggest a '92 or Maaaar-lin so you can shoot the hot stuff if the notion takes you.  Toggle links ain't what you want to use for shooting those .44 Mag style. 45 Colt loads.
