Interesting map

I've spent about half my life in mountains and the rest is divided up into sea level Asian countries,  California and the east coast Atlantic states, central Washington and Oregon, and Central Illinois.

We're right at a mile high here and when we moved here from California (380 feet above sea level) it took a long time to adapt....but we did.  The first few months I thought I'd die.

Interesting thing about this part of Arizona:  no matter where you you'll have to go up hill to get anywhere....and when you come back, that's uphill too.

I had a college professor tell me that was impossible, but then he's never been here.  :P

So... if the glaciers melt do we get a new coastline?

Out in west Texas, if you stand on the roof of your car and look very closely at the horizon you can see the back of your head. :P

Having been in Lubbock, I can confirm that. When I drove there, I noticed that I-27 runs from Amarillo to Lubbock, loops around the city and heads back up to Amarillo. Hmm… :D
