Deal made on a Schofield; now he’s waiting on the new Oregon stupid attack...

Recommended Posts

Howdy! A young man who I've known for most of his life is looking for a, in his words, "#3 Schofield in .45 Colt". He's not sure if such a thing even exists, but if it does he wants one. He doesn't shoot CAS, he just thinks that they're cool and that he needs one. If anybody knows of the existence of such a critter, and the price and condition are right, I can connect whoever up with him.

Thanks!

Yes, both First and Second Model Schofields are S&W Model 3 revolvers modified with Major George W. Schofield's patented locking system, and chambered for his unique .45 Schofield cartridge -- his biggest mistake.  The gun was superior to the Colt SAA but its inability to chamber the Government's tremendous stocks of .45 Long Colt ammunition doomed it to failure.

Any interest in a S&W Performance Center Schofield in 45 Schofield (45 S&W)?

Sorry, he specifically said that he wants 45 Colt.

A deal has been made. He’s now waiting in limbo for the transfer to take place due to the useful idiots who passed Oregon’s Bowel Movement 114 in November...

It would probably take him less time to pack up and move to a free state and establish himself there and take possession of this gun then it will be to negotiate the absolute BS mess that's going on in Oregon.

But, best of luck to this fella and his new awesome purchase.
