Forty Rod SASS 3935 Posted October 15, 2022 Share Posted October 15, 2022 That 1911 drum mag causes me to ask: what stress does that put on the gun, especially the mag well and latch mechanism? That sucker has to be heavy and would almost HAVE to be carried and shot straight up and down. Come to think of it, that would be true of almost all drum mags, wouldn't it?
