Texas Jack Black Posted May 28, 2022 Posted May 28, 2022 I opened a container of ffg APP powder why is it so clumpy and powdery ? Also 22 gr brings me to the base of a 250 grain 45 cal bullet in a Colt case. Does this all sound correct. Thank You JB
Kid Rich Posted May 28, 2022 Posted May 28, 2022 Yes that's the way it is, shake it up to get rid of the clumps. Is that by weight or volume? At the base of the bullet very slightly touching is the correct load. kR

Diamond Curly SASS#57086 Posted June 6, 2022 Posted June 6, 2022 The older production of APP was very clumpy but the latest bottles I purchased seemed a lot better. Only shoot APP a couple times a year so maybe I have been lucky. I prefer real black so not much experience . DC
Too Tall Bob Posted June 6, 2022 Posted June 6, 2022 Just a note of curiosity - the last 3 lbs of 3F APP I got were actually 2 F. Incorrectly labelled containers.
