Irish Pat Posted May 16, 2022 Posted May 16, 2022 we go to the beach near Pensacola Naval Base every year and I would always go to the Museum. Now the base. is closed unless you have a military ID
Trailrider #896 Posted May 16, 2022 Posted May 16, 2022 Rumor has it that the Bone (B-one or B-1) will eventually be replaced at Ellesworth by the B-21,

Now the base. is closed unless you have a military ID We went to Ft Rucker last year to see the Army Aviation Museum. It was closed but you could get a temporary ID. Filled out an application. They ran a background and took a photo. Took about 30 minutes. About the as as buying a gun.
Utah Bob #35998 Posted May 16, 2022 Posted May 16, 2022 I see B1s flying over here headed east every now and then. usually a pair. And sometimes refueling. I can tell by the sound of them that they're not commercial jets. And they are usually at about 8-10,000.
Tex Jones, SASS 2263 Posted May 16, 2022 Posted May 16, 2022 My brother in law's dad was a B 25 pilot in WWII. He still has the log books. The P 61 is a cool airplane.
